It was such an enjoyable read and I don’t think it should be taken as seriously as I’ve seen others mentioning.
This book is fast paced and action packed, although this book was kind of predictable it was still a good read. And there was a LOT of “aww” moments.
Beastly and Bewitching are part of what is called “The Kendra Chronicles” this also includes Flinn’s more recent books ‘Mirrored’ and ‘Beheld’ but they are not a straight-forward series and aside from Kendra no characters have fllnn appearances.

I won’t even get into how oblivious he was to Meg. The character I had the most difficulty believing in was the villain, who definitely seemed out of a Disney film in the sense that she was evil without any real motive. She can’t possibly be surprised that he’s slow to catch on. Honestly at times it felt like the story just stalled out as it took far too long for Johnny to finish up with his side mission and get back on with his quest.
Many people do not know of this fairytale which I held so dear to me for so very long. Even more, she asks for his help to rescue her brother the prince who has been turned into a frog and vanished from Otherwise it was an epic fail.
For those who can’t get enough of Alex Flinn’s work won’t surely want to miss this. She nods and opens the cage. It’s especially hard to maintain a feeling of masculinity when your leading male character is highly emotional, or as the kids these days say, “emo. Open Preview See a Problem?

It’s fun and refreshing and thoroughly modern, and I think will appeal to a variety of readers because of that. It all started with the curse. Before I knew it, I was spying with a flock of enchanted swans, talking yes, talking! This phonetic nonsense I find very alienating.
It just sort of happened, too, without any concrete evidence of their true feelings. So if you have a spare moment, please tell us your thoughts by writing a reader’s review.
No one else would think of shoes at a time like this. I even knew what The Salad was! Before anything I have to mention that for some reason I assumed that this was a re-telling of Red Riding Hoodand for those of you probably not too many because I’m exceptionally dim sometimes who thought it was as well I’m here to tell you it isn’t.
I also found that at times Cloaked contained a few too many fairy tales, as if Flinn aex attempting to fit as many into the novel as possible, and I think it would have benefited from including a couple less.
Anyway, this is just a hodgepodge of various Grimms’ Fairy-Tales, all because in her first book readers had no idea what Snow White and Rose Red was. Beastly is a novel by Alex Flinn. Again, as with most fairytale retellings, the characters had a tendency to be a tad flat and unreal, but I still think Flinn does a better job than most when creating them. Cloaked is an enjoyable, fun, and adventurous book. Even though I was enjoying the book and funny quotes about shoes, I never felt a pull towards finishing it, even finding myself bored at times because of the predictability and repetitiveness of the story.
It was published on September 15, I eat it up like I would for a hot bowl of Alphagettis! Did they migrate from someplace else?
